MAS Almanzoor – Where Vision Meets Reality

‘The GREEN stadium is a metaphor of hope, joy & Salvation within the city of KAEC’ Shading structures, inspired by the natural canopy of palm trees in a Green, provide relief from direct sunlight, enhancing the spectator experience.

The King Abdullah Economic City presents far-reaching opportunities for developing a sustainable and highly liveable city within the pristine desert landforms and marine ecosystems of the Red Sea Coast.
KAEC will unveil a new paradigm of sustainability for all future Saudi Arabian cities: one that celebrates water through collection, conservation, and reuse; integrates smart city infrastructure to improve efficiency; and reflects the unique natural environment within which it is set.
The city’s open space network is based on an ecosystem approach that is closely linked to landforms, climate, geology, and hydrology. The interconnected open space system extends from the wadis to the sea and maintains the natural flow of rainwater and nutrients through the urban fabric. As rainwater enters the city through enhanced wadis, naturalized channels, and bioswales, the city will come to life in rich blooms and greenery.
By reflecting its unique natural beauty and harnessing the invaluable resource of rainwater, KAEC becomes a model for sustainability in the Kingdom.

The King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia is a marvel of modern urban planning, and within this dynamic cityscape lies a striking stadium that seamlessly blends architectural innovation with a touch of nature’s inspiration. This stadium’s façade is an homage to the verdant beauty of green leaves, combining aesthetic appeal with sustainable design in a unique and captivating way.

The green leaf-inspired design is not limited to the exterior. The interior of the stadium also incorporates this theme. The seating, the roof structure, and even the landscaping within the stadium precinct all harmonize with the overarching leafy motif, creating an immersive and unified experience for those who attend events there. The designers aimed to create a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere that evokes a sense of being surrounded by nature

As visitors approach the stadium in KAEC, they are immediately greeted by a façade that mimics the intricate patterns and
textures of lush green leaves. The design is a harmonious union of nature and modernity, emphasizing the significance of environmental conservation and the connection between urban development and
the natural world.
