Our stadium design represents the unfolding petals of the ‘King of Flowers’. The peony flower symbolises wealth and honour and is an omen of good fortune.
The flower’s physical form has allowed us to create the language for the stadium’s appearance.
The appearance of the stadium reflects the distinctive petal structures of the peony which readily lend themselves to an attractive method enclosing the internal spaces required. We have varied the texture and surface treatments to allow a rich sequence of layers that describe the varying spaces within.
The design allows the in ternal configuration to be fully compliant with all international football requirements and offers an unrivalled visitor experience for the sporting and retail visitors.
